Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field. What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce. For me, the camera is a sketchbook, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity.
Say Hello amitart2010@gmail.comBorn in West Bengal in northern India in 1982. I obtained the degree of Bachelor of Visual Arts with honours from Rabindra Bharati University in the year 2007 with first class. Later, I worked as a Graphic designer and illustrator. Now I am working as a Creative Director at Reddbug Groug.
Although trained as a painter, I experimented with variety of media; Water colour and pencil being my signature medium. I worked with everyday objects, portraits and Landscapes.
Over the last fifteen years of my career, I have earned a sense of creativity. I want to show the beauty of life in a chaotic world.
I combined my visual arts with photographs and finally saw what I was looking for. The spark! Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. Check out my portfolio.
